16/03438*      Mr Hughes: Alterations and additions to form five no. additional close-care apartments in addition to that approved under 11/00403 at Former windsor Rackets and Fitness Club, Helston Lane, Windsor  THE PANEL VOTED UNANIMOUSLY to DEFER and DELEGATE authority to  the Head of Planning to grant planning permission with the conditions listed in Section 10 of the Main Report, on completion of a satisfactory legal agreement to secure measures to ensure a safe means of escape in the event of flooding through the development on the site approved under separate planning permission

17/00006*      BMW (UK) Trustees Limited: Construction of a 5 storey building with associated car parking (including provision for public use at specific times), access and landscaping works following demolition of existing office building at Thames Court, 1 Victoria Street, Windsor SL4 1YB  THE PANEL VOTED to APPROVE the application against the Head of Planning’s recommendations and grant planning permission with the conditions being delegated to Officers in conjunction with the Chairman of the Panel and Ward Councillors. The Panel considered the development would enhance the character and the appearance of the Conservation Area.

 

                        (Five Councillors voted in favour of approval (Cllrs Bicknell, Grey, Muir, Quick and Shelim), and four Councillors voted against approval (Cllrs Alexander, Bowden, Da Costa and S. Rayner).

 

                        (The Panel were addressed by Catherine Hill in objection and Tim Price, the Agent. A statement of support for the application was read out by the legal officer from Councillor Jack Rankin).

 

17/00425*      Mr Loveridge: Erection of two new commercial units (Use class B2 – general industrial) within the existing commercial site at Rear of 250 to 284 Horton Road, Datchet, slough  THE PANEL VOTED UNANIMOUSLY to DEFER the application for two cycles in order to allow time for the Environment Agency to comment on additional information.

 

                        (the Panel were addressed by Mr Ian Walton and Mr Loveridge in favour of the application).

 

17/01019       Mrs Longworth-Krafft: Erection of 9 x 8m high external lighting columns at Windsor Girls School, Imperial Road, Windsor SL4 3RT  THE PANEL VOTED UNANIMOUSLY to APPROVE the application in accordance with the Head of Planning’s recommendations and grant planning permission with the conditions listed in Section 10 of the Main Report.
