Fire Alarm - In the event of the fire alarm sounding or other emergency, please leave the building quickly and calmly by the nearest exit, situated through the Mayor’s Parlour (opposite the Chamber), and proceed down the back staircase. Do not stop to collect personal belongings. Congregate on the cobbled area, outside Hamptons Estate Agents and do not re-enter the building until told to do so by a member of staff.

    PRESENTATION FROM GATWICK AIRPORT LIMITED – PROPOSALS FOR ADDITIONAL SECOND RUNWAY (1930 – 2030)
    To receive a presentation from Mr Alistair McDermid, Airports Commission Executive Director, Gatwick Airport Limited regarding Gatwick Airport Limited’s proposals for an additional second runway.

    AIRPORTS COMMISSION DRAFT RESPONSE
    To discuss the draft Airport Commission response, following the initial response sent to Heathrow Airport in March 2014 which considered the way in which they conducted their consultation exercise and the issues not addressed.

    The AC response (to be discussed) shall:
    Outline RBWMs opposition to the Heathrow options for the reasons contained within the minutes of the March Aviation Forum.
    Highlight RBWM’s support of the July 2013 motion by West Sussex County Council to “support the principle of Gatwick expansion on economic grounds”.
