Joint Central and Eastern Berkshire Minerals and Waste Plan – authorisation for preferred option consultation
The council is working with partner
authorities to prepare a minerals and waste plan. The draft plan is
now at a stage where the options for meeting the objectives set out
previously have been evaluated and sites identified to meet the
need for mineral extraction and waste management and treatment. The
draft plan sets out the preferred options following this process.
Authorisation will be sought in order to commence formal
consultation on these preferred options.
