iv) | THE NEW OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE Mike McGaughrin, the Royal Borough’s recently appointed Chief Operating Officer, will be in attendance to provide information on the new Operations Directorate. (page 11) There will be an opportunity for questions |
v) | STANDARDS UPDATE Marias Lucas, the Royal Borough’s Monitoring Officer, will be in attendance to provide an update on changes to the Code of Conduct and arrangements for dealing with complaints as a result of the Localism Act. (report to follow) There will be an opportunity for questions. |
vi) | FEEDBACK ON THE DALC WORKSHOPS INCLUDING THE ACTION PLAN – ‘INCREASING CIVIC PARTICIPATION IN PARISHES’ Andrew Davies, Chairman of DALC, will provide feedback on the workshops held in December 2011 and February 2012 and the proposed Action Plan. ix) | SITING OF A-BOARDS Stephen Brown, the Royal Borough’s Head of Highways, Engineering and Transport will be present to provide information on the Borough’s policy on the siting of A-Boards. (page 22) There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions. |
x) | PRESENTATION AT NEXT CONFERENCE The Conference will no doubt recall that, at the Conference meeting in June 2007, it was agreed that there should be an opportunity for Parish and Town Councils to share their experiences and successes in relation to projects and schemes that they may be involved in. Hence, the Conference is invited to agree the presentation for the next Conference in October 2012. |

N.B. In consultation with the Chairman of DALC, it was agreed that one issue would be dealt with by way of an information leaflet rather than a discussion item for the agenda. This will be available at the meeting.
