Harjit Hunjan, the Royal Borough’s Community and Business Partnerships Manager will provide a presentation on devolution of services to Parish Councils. There will be an opportunity for questions. |
| v) | BOROUGH PROPOSALS FOR SUPPORTING PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS To note the report and minutes of the Big Society Panel meeting held on 17th September 2013 (page 13).
Harjit Hunjan, the Royal Borough’s Community and Business Partnerships Manager, will be in attendance to present on this item. Maria Lucas, Head of Legal, will also be present in her role as Returning Officer. The Conference will hear from Andrew Davis, parish councillor and chairperson of DALC, who will provide and update on the action plan for recruitment of parish councillors (page 27). There will be an opportunity for questions. |
| vi) | PRESENTATION AT NEXT CONFERENCE The Conference will no doubt recall that, at the Conference meeting in June 2007, it was agreed that there should be an opportunity for Parish and Town Councils to share their experiences and successes in relation to projects and schemes that they may be involved in. Hence, the Conference is invited to agree the presentation for the next Conference in February 2014. |
