To appoint a Chair for the duration of the Appeals Panel.

Councillor Coppinger proposed that Councillor Cannon be elected Chair for the durations of the Appeals Panel. This was seconded by Councillor Davey.

AGREED UNANIMOUSLY: That Councillor Cannon will Chair the Appeals Panel.

It was noted that Councillor Davey had replaced Councillor Clark on the panel.

Panel Members are to declare any interests that they may have.

No decalrations of interest were made.

All parties are to note the procedures of the Appeals Panel.

To consider passing the following resolution:- “That under Section 100 (A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting whilst discussion takes place on items 6-8 on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1, 2, 3 and 5 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act”.
