To appoint a Chair for the duration of the Appeals Panel.

Councillor Baskerville proposed Councillor Brar. This was seconded by Councillor K. Singh.

AGREED UNANINMOUSLY: That Councillor Brar be elected Chair for the duration of the Appeals Panel.

The Chair is to invite those in attendance to introduce themselves.

Panel members, officers and appellants introduced themselves.

To receive any apologies for absence.

No interests were declared.

All parties are to note the procedures of the Appeals Panel.

The Panel noted the procedures.

To consider passing the following resolution: -

“That under Section 100 (A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting whilst discussion takes place on the remaining agenda items on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1, 2, 3 and 5 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Act”.

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting whilst discussion takes place on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1-7 of part I of Schedule 12A of the Act.
