16/01878         The Crown Estate: Replacement agricultural building at Russells Farm, Windsor Great Park, Windsor – THE PANEL UNANIMOUSLY VOTED to APPROVE the application, subject to the additional conditions in the Officer’s update report.

16/01889         The Bursar, St Georges School: Erection of swimming pool and changing facilities with ancillary paths, landscaping and re-surface existing adjoining car park (amendment to planning permission 13/02832) at St Georges School, Wells Lane, Ascot SL5 7DZ – THE PANEL UNANIMOUSLY VOTED to refer the item to the Secretary of State in accordance with the Head of Planning’s recommendation, subject to condition 5 being amended to read ‘in the interests of the welfare of children in the whole community’.

16/02699         Mr Burrows: Erection of teaching and boarding facility following demolition of existing ancillary buildings at Papplewick School, Windsor Road, Ascot SL5 7LH – THE PANEL UNANIMOUSLY VOTED to DEFER to the Head of Planning as per the Officer recommendation in the update report, subject to the condition relating to surface water drainage being included separately as condition 12.

16/02810         Mr Scott: Erection of a detached five bedroom dwelling with attached garage on Land at Priory Lodge, Priory Road, Sunningdale, Ascot – THE PANEL UNANIMOUSLY VOTED to DEFER the application so that a site visit could be made, and for Members to visit neighbouring properties at Home End and Hope Cottage.

 

                        (The motion was proposed by Cllr Bateson and seconded by Cllr Hilton.)

 

                        (The Panel was addressed by Emma East, Gill Chater, Michael Burn of Sunningdale Parish Council and Julia Chester and Margaret Morgan (SPAE) in objection.)

 

16/03142         Jordan Construction Limited: Erection of a pair of 3 bedroom semi-detached houses with associated parking and landscaping, following demolition of all existing buildings at Rosedale, 54 Albany Road, Old Windsor, Windsor SL4 2QA – THE PANEL UNANIMOUSLY VOTED to DEFER the application so that a site visit could be made, and Officers could collate details of any planning applications for new houses in Old Windsor and Wraysbury since the start of 2014 where voids have been accepted as flood compensations, either through delegated powers or Panel decisions.

 

                        (The motion was proposed by Cllr Hilton and seconded by Cllr Bateson.)

 

                        (A previous motion to overturn the Officer’s recommendation and approve the application was proposed by Cllr Lenton and seconded by Cllr Rayner. Three Councillors voted in favour of the motion (Cllrs Lenton, Rayner and Bateson) and three Councillors voted against the motion (Cllrs Beer, L Evans and Hilton); the Chairman used the casting vote to refuse, and the motion fell away.)

 

                        (The Panel was addressed by Maurice Redmond and Hugh Johnstone in objection and Ellen Timmins, the agent. The Panel was also addressed by Cllrs Grey and Bicknell.)

 

16/03323         Miss Pfeiffer: Construction of first floor extension at Wraysbury Primary School, Welley Road, Wraysbury, Staines TW19 5DJ – THE PANEL VOTED UNANIMOUSLY to APPROVE the application in line with the Officer’s recommendation.
