We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to use all its powers to stop development on land adjacent to Ockwells Manor in Cox Green in order to both preserve the setting of Ockwells Manor and to avoid overloading the present Cox Green infrastructure.
All residents of Cox Green and other Wards in the Royal Borough are invited to express their support to stop the development of hundreds of new homes on a green field site adjacent to Ockwells Manor; land presently protected by a National Trust covenant. This development can only serve to choke the limited highway routes in to and out of Cox Green and place an increased burden on the local infrastructure. In addition any development will inevitably damage the setting of this historic, heritage site.
