We need to try to get a crossing here, for everyone as it is a major pedestrian route to the town centre. It is also an extremely difficult crossing to negotiate and you have to really understand the pattern of the signals to know when to ‘make a dash for it’. Everyone but especially mothers with prams and small children as well as the elderly find this crossing extremely hazardous.
