The proposal seeks to place 16 caravans and 4 amenity buildings on agricultural land within the green belt, with no current access to utilities, local facilities or amenities as there is no bus service or safe passage along Forest Green Road. The access to the site is a narrow private track with a public footpath only. The junction of the track with Forest Green Road is very dangerous as it has a current speed limit of 60mph and is unlit. This site is unsuitable for 8 families comprising 34 people among which there are proposed to be 18 children (this will dominate the existing settled community which comprises 32 people). This application should be refused in principle on the grounds of harm to the green belt and endangered wildlife, unsustainability especially for children and a fundamentally dangerous point of access.
