We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to prosecute the landowner of Blacknest Park, Whitmore Lane, for the illegal tree felling of about 1 acre of forrest and obtain a court order to require the landowner to remove the tonnes of soil moved onto the river bed and re-plant and restore the forest.

Granny Kettles Ancient Woodland has been a haven for wildlife and biodiversity until around May 2012 when over an acre of the forest was cut down despite a blanket Tree Protection Order. We the undersigned call on the RBWM Council to take action to prosecute the landowner for the illegal tree felling and obtain a court order to require the landowner to remove the tonnes of soil moved into the river area and re-plant the forest.
