We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to urgently review & implement additional parking provision on the Halifax Road Estate (also known as the Bomber Estate), in order to improve resident access and safety.
An urgent review in order to increase residents' parking
provision through additional bays & other schemes is
needed.
The current lack of parking has lead to:
-Dangerous pavement parking (restricting access for pavement users,
including wheelchair, mobility scooters and prams);
-Reduced sight-line & general visibility (of particular concern
near Courthouse Junior School & Oaken Grove Park);
-Poor access & parking convenience for all residents (including
elderly, infirm & those with infants & young
children);
-Damage to resident's vehicles.
