The current traffic situation on the B3020 at Sunninghill High Street cannot continue.
Due to on street parking and a complete lack of traffic management, there is absolute gridlock several times a day. People use the junction of the High Street and School Road as an unofficial passing place - immediately outside a primary school.
Access to and from Queens Road in both directions exacerbates the problem, especially as unauthorised or illegal parking outside the Jade Restaurant and Londis shop is constant.
This small road also has to provide delivery access and parking for all the shops and businesses on the High street, and access for the public bus, along what is effectively a single track road.
Allowing HGV's to use this road is totally unnecessary and unacceptable except for access.
