Due to a recent, fatal accident on one of the pedestrian crossings on The Bray Road, we insist on urgent action being taken to make both pedestrian crossings safer to use to avoid further fatalities. The two crossings are within close proximity of a Primary School and are used by hundreds of children daily as a ‘safe’ route to school. The level of traffic using the Bray Road has increased significantly since the original crossings were put in place and we believe them to be no longer safe.
