My daughter, and like many other children goes to Trevelyan middle school. As she travels from Springfield Road she often likes to go to the local shop opposite windsor day nursery. There is no crossing here for her and other children to cross safely. There are crossing at each end of the road but nothing in the middle. This is a long stretch of road and my daughter feels that it would be safer if a crossing was put there. I know many parents that also come out of the nursery and cross to use the shop. Again with high risk to no crossing. A zebra crossing would make it so much safer for all children to cross this very busy road. I am sure many people will agree adults and children alike.
