We are all very concerned about the amount of people congregating on Baths Island during this pandemic, and those who are deliberately causing harm to the nesting swan there. Swan Rescue and other residents have done great work trying to protect her, but people are still uprooting fencing and now, sadly, smashing eggs. There should be no reason for anyone to need access to Baths Island at the current time, and all responsible residents are more than happy to take their walks elsewhere for the time being to ensure the swan is able to next in please.
