Save Boyn Grove Library from closure
Boyn Grove Library is well used, and well located, and is vital
to residents in Boyn Hill, Pinkneys Green and Belmont. It therefore
has a high level of book borrowing according to RBWM itself:

It is well used by Dementia and Learning Disability groups, and has
excellent parking access, unlike the central library. The decision
to remove Town Hall parking has made this local accessibility all
the more important.
The site is also used by School groups, and is used out of hours by
the community. It is a vital community space.
Local libraries are important places for learning about RBWM
services, with fantastically helpful and informed staff, whose jobs
are now it seems at risk. This would be a tragic loss of expertise
in the Borough.
Access to books, education, culture and information is the
cornerstone of services that Council tax should provide.
We therefore petition the Council to remove Boyn Grove Library from
the list of proposed library closures.
