OBJECT to the proposal for NINE apartments and new boundary treatment with associated parking and amenity space on the 'land adjacent to 33A The Crescent, Maidenhead, SL6 6AG' Planning reference Ref
We Object to the development of 9 flats adjacent to 33A The
Crescent Maidenhead SL6 6AG Planning Ref: 20/03261/FULL Appn Date:
19/1/21 for these reasons:
Similar to previous refused 9 Flats by the same applicant under a
different name (Ref. No: 19/02030/FULL). It hasn’t overcome
the issues found by RBWM Planning or on appeal. Their previous 9
flat application was rejected < 2 years ago
Out of keeping with the character of the area
Overdevelopment of the site
Too bulky – it is wider & has a larger footprint than
previous refused schemes (19/02030, 20/02484 & 19/03191)
Insufficient car parking for the Development. No unrestricted
on-road parking within 200m
Inadequate visibility splays would result in accidents on the busy
corner
Insufficient ecological info despite it being a previous reason for
refusal
Substantial overlooking of neighbouring properties &
significant loss of daylight to gardens
Substandard accommodation for occupants
Water main runs across where the flat block is proposed, this will
run within the TPO tree root area
Site trees have been felled, including a TPO protected Yew tree
& trees on the railway bank with live trains running
