There is an urgent need now for a pedestrian crossing to help people cross the road from the end of Kennel Avenue to gain access to the Heath (next to Ascot race course). Traffic drives very fast along this road and every day we struggle to cross safely with our dog. It is only a matter of time before a serious accident happens here.
In fact just last weekend I saw a near miss where a little boy on his bike started to cross before his Dad got there and nearly got hit by a car.  Now more than ever we need a pedestrian crossing here to help people cross the road safely.
With the increased numbers of people using the Heath this problem has escalated and needs urgent attention. I urge you to sign this petition and prevent a tragedy.  Thanks very much for your support.
