We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to do all it can to refuse and stop any building development that undermines, or does not preserve and protect the character and street scene of the "old village area of Cox Green," around Cox Green Lane & Lock Lane
Cox Green was once a small but distinct settlement to the
south-west of Maidenhead, but is now a suburb of Maidenhead.
The old part of the village has a variety of very distinct
properties and views that give it a unique character that deserves
to be protected and enhanced in order to retain its rural/village
feel.
