We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to ask that the Council and Government work together with the Association of British Insurers to ensure that residents of the borough are able to obtain home insurance INCLUDING flood cover.
Currently, there is gap between the Statement of Principles 2008 and the proposed Flood Re scheme. Those residing in areas at significant risk of flooding, such as Wraysbury, are unable - through no fault of their own - to obtain flood cover.
