The Residents of the west end of the Drift Road, Holyport, require a reduction in the speed limit from the national speed limit to one which is more befitting a residential and agricultural road that sees a blended cross section of road user from Cyclists and Horses, to Articulated lorries and Heavy goods vehicles.
In light of the recent fatality on this road, it has offered an opportunity to highlight the disregard for safe driving on this particular section of road by motorists, safety measures need to be implemented immediately to ensure the safety of all road users and residents.
