Although RBWM is placed (as the name suggests) to look out for the 'Wellbeing' of all the constituents of Windsor & Maidenhead, all primary care services have become Maidenhead centric, leaving Windsor's vulnerable open to becoming even more so. This now includes Housing Options which is now being moved from York House on Shert Street to Maidenhead Town Hall.
RBWM council need to know that we need local services such as, Housing Options to remain Windsor and make it easier for people such as the homeless, struggling parents, older generation residents and anybody else that may need the use of such an agency to be in our town centre and not in our sister town, which is an unjustified distance to have to travel when you are in dire straits.
Windsor Town already has no Mental Health Services, no Drug/Alcohol Services, no Citizens Advice Bureau, not even a Police Station and now they plan to move our Housing service.
We urge you to not only justify this decision but to also rectify it by reversing the decision to relocate Housing Options back to York House.
